On a successful check-in, KyberAccess prints a professional visitor badge and shows a clear, unmistakable entry signal so your front desk and guards always know who is cleared to enter.
Badge printing
- Connect a supported badge printer (see Kiosk & Hardware for models).
- Go to Settings > Badge Printing and design your badge layout — name, photo, host, purpose, visit date, and an expiry time.
- Choose a portrait or landscape template and add your logo/branding.
- Badges print automatically the moment a visitor is verified.
Badges can include a QR code for check-out and an expiration so a pass isn't reused on another day.
Entry signal
After each scan, the guard or kiosk screen shows a full-screen status banner that's readable at a glance:
- ENTRY GRANTED (green) — valid pass, not on a watchlist, credential OK.
- ENTRY DENIED / VERIFY MANUALLY (red) — expired or already-used pass, a watchlist match, or a flagged visitor.
For sites with gates or turnstiles, the entry signal can also trigger the physical door or turnstile release, so approved visitors flow through automatically while denied ones are held for manual review.
Tips
- Set a badge expiry (e.g. end of day) so visitors can't reuse a pass on a later visit.
- Use the denied state as a prompt for guards to escalate — pair it with Guard Verification for a complete entry checkpoint.
