Setting the Tardy Threshold
- Go to Settings → Student Attendance → Schedule
- Set your school's start time (e.g., 8:00 AM)
- Set the tardy threshold (e.g., 8:15 AM)
- Any student scanning after the threshold is flagged as tardy
Tardy Notifications
Configure who gets notified when a student is tardy:
- Parent/Guardian: SMS or email alert with arrival time
- Homeroom Teacher: Dashboard notification
- Principal/Admin: Daily tardy summary report
Attendance Reports
Access reports in Analytics → Student Attendance:
- Daily attendance rate by grade
- Individual student attendance history
- Tardy trends over time
- Chronic absenteeism alerts (configurable threshold)
- CSV export for state compliance reporting
